Soren Sandstrom is a guitarist, singer and songwriter based in Chicago and originally hailing from Indianapolis. Soren and Stas met in 2021 while both were participating in the Academic Year in Freiburg (AYF) program. The two struck up a friendship quickly and shortly thereafter began playing music together.

His debut single Hell On Earth and debut album The Train Into Town were produced and engineered by Stas, then mixed and mastered by Max DiFrisco of Westhead.
