Samuel Rollins is the musical project of Chicago native Sam Smith. After the end of his last band, studio-centric The Virgin Jerry in mid-2021, Sam began recording his debut record, Seasons Change, under his new moniker, influenced by artists such as John Cale, Penguin Cafe Orchestra, Wilco and John Fahey.
The three singles from the album, Coming of Winter, Magnolia and Weary Traveler, are peppered with collaborations by fellow ex-Virgin Jerry member Stas as well as other musicians.
