Racing Mount Pleasant (formerly Kingfisher) are an indie band originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Stas crossed paths with the band while studying at the University of Michigan, with bassist Tyler Thenstedt and Stas both being members of Big Chemical’s Chicago lineup.

Stas contributed viola to a live video of “Outlast/34th Floor” from their eponymous album released in 2025.
